The private view of artworks by Thomas and Myra, offering a glimpse into their unique artistic perspectives, took place on Friday, 2nd May 2025. It was a fantastic turnout, attended by many admirers of their stunning artworks, with red stickers decorating the label cards of many paintings.
Thomas's exuberant personality rippled through the air as he glided around the room, his presence resonating beautifully with the vibrating artworks. At that moment, I was spellbound by a pink flower singing in a colour field of greens, with subtle complementaries dancing on the surface of a square canvas in the corner by the window. The stunning skyscapes and impressions of fleeting moments transported me to the serene rhythm of an evening walk—where Thomas absorbs the sky, the fractal silhouettes of tree outlines shift and turn, the flower beams from the foliage, the path beneath burns red, glowing underfoot. The rhythm of his steps flickers across each brushstroke. We are greeted by familiar faces and passersby, walking with him outside in our minds, while in the gallery, we greet him too—unmissable. Thomas’s exhibition, for me, embodies the calm joy of an evening walk—perhaps simply for the joy of the walk itself, of the things we see and feel. This is how it feels to view his work—as if he has taken us by the hand and led us with him. Thank you, Thomas.
In contrast to the multitude of colours in Thomas’s work, Myra’s palette is a perfect, refined selection—permanent rose or magenta pinks blending into azure and cerulean blues. Her paintings transport us to a misty realm where white air embraces pink and blue flowers, as if we are floating in a cloudy meadow, high in the sky, or in a dreamscape of memory—peacefully lying in fields of tulips or bluebells. The sun, cool and bright in early spring, whitewashes the world for all but the petals, shining vividly before our eyes.
Thomas and Myra’s show is pure eye candy, both stunning and affordable—perfect to adorn your walls and brighten your spaces. It runs from 29th April 2025 to 12th June 2025, open Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM.

An attendees comment:
'I had the privilege of teaching Tom when he was a student at CAVC studying art and design. His passion for art was infectious and he always bought absolute joy into the classroom and now he brings it through his paintings. This exhibition really showcases everything that’s great about Tom, it’s colourful, fun, dynamic and creative.'
