Jewellery & Silversmithing

Create unique items of jewellery and discover techniques including stone setting and enamelling.
These classes are suitable for beginners and for those who want to explore and develop new ideas.
You will learn the skills needed to cut, join and shape silver to make items of jewellery and extend your range of techniques and skills.
This course is for people who want to learn how to make jewellery out of silver and other metals.
There are no specific requirements for joining.
Upholstery & Basic Cane Seating

Would you like to learn a new hobby, what about the original re-cycle up-cycling of upholstery?
What stuffing goes where, how to do corners, where to make cuts, how to cut top fabric, and all those little things to give you a professional finish? You will need some tools and equipment, like tack lifter, staple lifter, mallet, top fabric.

These two sessions are independent classes run by Barry Akins the former potter of St Fagans Museum.

Barry also runs a whole day pottery throwing session in schools working with 2-3 classes per day. A great fun educational experience, contact for more details.
Fridays: 2-4pm & 7-9pm
NOTE
You can still join a class after the term has started if there is space available.
You can also join term two or three regardless of having done term one depending on the course subject.
